Hastily written by the same culprits behind Wet Hot American Summer, the infamous 90's sketch comedy troupe's eponymous television series The State and later the comedy series Stella, comes this ridiculous, wacky romp following the story of Jack Greenburg, the new sheriff of the humble township of Teaneck, New Jersey, who is forced to butt heads with Tad Theaterman, the town's menacing crime lord, who enforces his corrupt power over the town through his army of hookers and gigolos! Can Jack get the girl, fend off the heinous Weems gang, save the fading town of Teaneck, and defeat the dastardly Tad Theaterman?! Experience the bold adventure, the tortured heartbreak, the malicious vengeance, the unnecessary musical numbers, the uncalled-for dancing, the non-consensual audience participation, the unapologetically deficient fight choreography, and of course, the wieners and boobs, at the Playground Theater this September to find out for yourself!
I have the dishonorable honor of designing and coordinating the fights for this show! I'm really happy to be working with New Millennium Theatre Company for the second time! I last contributed fight design to and performed in their original work, Old Hobbits Die Hard which recently played at the Royal George Theatre!
