The Pale Man
A suspense mystery-thriller written and directed by John Lerchen, The Pale Man is an original feature film based on the eponymous chilling short story by Julius Long. Set in the 70s, the story follows a disenchanted, anxiety-ridden Abigail West who becomes stranded in a desolate town when her car breaks down. She meets the town's mild-mannered cook, Victor, and finds comfort with him in an otherwise unwelcoming place. As she begins making arrangements to depart from this creepy town, a sinister mystery falls on her lap that will mark her doom unless she can outsmart the dark forces at work.
In the film I play role of Reece, the shoddy bartender and ringleader in a gang of reckless hooligans that have nothing better to do than pick fights. In addition to performing and fighting as Reece, I am also the film's Fight Director & Stunt Coordinator. I choreographed the film's four fight sequences and directed the cast in safe and effective techniques during production to bring my concepts into reality on screen. The film portrays a gritty, realistic brawler-style bar fight, an all-out assault & murder, and two other gripping deaths that have proven to be a lot of fun to create and play with.
